Mortgage Appointment

Please bring the following information to your appointment so that the appointment is as productive as possible.

Required documents

  • Last three months' wage slips and details of any guaranteed overtime, bonus or commission

  • If you are self-employed, you will need to bring the last three years' proof of accounts, Tax Calculations and Tax Year Overviews, please click here for further information

  • Last three months' bank statements (internet statements are fine, but they must show your name and account number)

  • Details of existing mortgage(s) – ideally your last mortgage statement if we did not arrange the original mortgage

  • Details of existing loans or credit card commitments

  • Proof of deposit, such as your last savings account statement, if applicable

  • Identification e.g. passport or driving licence

  • Proof of address e.g. utility bill dated within last three months

  • P60 (if available)

It is helpful to have on hand a credit report. We would usually recommend obtaining a copy of your Experian or Equifax report. We are not worried with regards to the credit score, just your credit history. The reports can be obtained online using the following links:- Statutory Credit Report | Experian or Check your FREE* Equifax Credit Report & Score | V2 | Equifax UK

To obtain an Agreement in Principle (AIP), we have to have proof of identification, address and income on file.

Protection/Insurance Appointment

A protection review should take around an hour and it would be useful if you could have:

  • Any benefits from your employer e.g. death in service and sick pay

  • The amount outstanding on your mortgage
